シルヴァン・テッソン（ Sylvain Tesson、1972年～ ）は、パリ出身で地理学のDEA（専門研究課程）を取得している。自ら数々の冒険を行い、それらの紀行文を刊行している。またエッセイや小説も執筆しており、2009年にはゴンクール短編小説賞、さらに2019年にはルノードー賞も受賞している。
