　マザー・テレサ（Mère Teresa (Thérèse)、1910年～1997年）はインドでの活動がよく知られているが、旧ユーゴスラビアのスコピエ（現在はマケドニア国内）でアルバニア人の両親のもとに生まれた。
　今年2010年はマザー・テレサの生誕100年にあたる。
